Christy Engel has spent more than 16 years in banking, building trusted relationships and guiding clients through life’s biggest financial decisions. Now, as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Mpire Financial, she uses that experience to help families and individuals turn the dream of homeownership into reality.

A proud Jefferson native, Christy graduated from Jackson County High School and, aside from a five-year adventure in Texas, has called Jackson County home her entire life. With deep community roots—her parents also grew up here—she knows firsthand the pride and stability that come with finding the right home in the right place.

When she’s not helping clients, you can find Christy cheering on the Bulldogs, exploring new restaurants, cooking up something delicious, or expanding her newest hobby as a budding wine connoisseur. She’s also a country music fan and loves attending events where she can meet and connect with people.

Christy is most proud of being a mom to her son Xander, a business major at the University of North Georgia, and being “dog mom” to her three beloved French Bulldogs—Rico, Lola, and Phoebe. (Fair warning: the Frenchies often try to steal the spotlight!)

She believes buying a home isn’t just a transaction—it’s about building a future, creating memories, and finding a place to truly belong. Her mission is to make the mortgage process clear, stress-free, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
